I have had this quad for a couple of months now and have gone thru 3 cdi boxes. During practice this weekend his quad ran good but will now start on kick only... Doesn't idle very good and has a loss of power. everything is stock except cdi.

BTW i have cleaned the carb and filter and repaced spark plug and fuel. oil is still hooked up

Sounds like you may have an air leak or compression issue


Check air intake boot for cracks and try to do a compression test (use quality quage)

This will tell us more...

I check compression. It was 90
After i tore it down i noticed the o-ring between head and cyl had a leak. That would explain the thirsty radiator, and my jetting issue!!!!!!!!!!!
