ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA WHY THE AFTERMARKET KILL SWITCH WOULD BE SHOCKING MY SON, WHEN YOU TOUCH THE TOP OF THE KILL SWITCH AND ANY OTHER METAL PART LIKE THE HANDELBAR OR THE NERF BAR YOU GET A HECK OF A SHOCK ANY IDEAS WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS. THE GROUND WIRE ISNT BROKEN OR CRACKED?????????????

Reverse the wires.

WELL IT HAS WORKED FINE FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND A 1/2 NOW, HE WAS ON OUR TRACK IN OUR YARD WE HAVE ABOUT A 15 FOOT TABLETOP HE WAS JUMPING THAT AND HE TOOK A BRAKE AND WHEN HE WENT TO RIDE AGAIN IT STARTED TO SHOCK HIM,

Oh,I see.The swich must be faulty then.I would just try another kill switch on it.

Hi, I have seen quite a few kill switches go bad, but if its not bad, the wires that come down from assy were installed the wrong way. Try switching the ground and power wires and see if it works without the shocking? See you at the races!

Improper or faulty grounding.
Try running a ground from the engine to the frame.
Work for us!
