As stated above. Wondering what you guys are using to remove plugs. I have an '01 400ex and I just found out my plug is not a 13/16...after I bought the tusk plug wrench.

Plugs are 18mm. Is that correct? Thanks all...

Thats correct, but you might have to shave down your socket. Original spark plug wrench works fine.;)

My factory plug wrench bent/rounded out on me, plus I like to torque the plug to spec...so I just use a cheap 18mm deep well that I got from the local True Value hardware store.

It's manufactured by ALLEN, and slips down into the head without any grinding, shaving, etc.

i use either the thing that comes in the took kit of a deep socket. I have never had to grind a socket to fit the plug and the casting and such could be different but there are 3 400ex motors in my garage and i havent had a problem with any of them. I just use whatever is closest just remember when putting it back in make sure its straight and dont torque it down hard stripping a spark plug hole is never good
