Wanted to know some info on picking up a shop manual for a 400ex....who has the cheapest $$$ out there.....should i just go directly to my dealer? i've found they are hard to come by on ebay....

I went straight to my nearest dealer. I think I paid $45. It is an invaluable tool if you do your own maintenance.

I got mine from my dealer for $49

i got one for my 250ex from my dealer. they ordered it from Honda was about $40

i got mine for 16 plus shipping. it is a haynes shop manual. so far it has covered everything i needed to do. look around for it, i dont remeber the site but i know somone here does. i started a topic about this a couple weeks ago -- do a search

I got mine for $40. It was the best $40 I've spent on my 400. It will pay it's self off the first time you use it.

how is it so cheap off that website? is that the same one everyone has or is it a shorter version ?
