axle nut

so my axle nut needs to be replaced. so i'm buying a Rad-loc one, but i realized it threads onto the existing piece on the stock axle nut. my problem is the piece of my stock one is frozen on the threaded piece. i've tried to get it off but its not coming. i have a friend with a 250x/300ex, i've read there the same axle nut, so would any of you guys that have had both know if they're the same and i could use the threaded piece off the 250x?

k first off. those are left hand threads on that nut. so make sure your turning the right way. and 2nd off im pretty sure the 250 one will fit because they sell them on ebay and say will fit 250,400,300 so i think they will.

or heat/cut the part of the axle nut that is on and get on at ur local dealer..

well i can get the nut off, its just the larger piece is frozen on the threaded part. i've tried heating it aswell, it just doesnt come.

and yea i know its left handed threads.
