just that, when do you know to repack? is there any symptoms? less performance, or anything.
my buddys got a z400 and its just kinda weak, my 400ex smokes all over his and its only got a pipe and filter basicaly, hes got a pipe, filter, and cam. what could cause it to be weak? its a 2004 and he dont ride it but 20 hours a year, i cant see the rings being bad, and compression seems good. filter has an outerwears and a outerwears lid too so its not a dirty filter. any thaughts on what it could be. i heard that the carbon build up can severly decrease performance, should i recomend he cleans his pipe? repack the tip or is it something more internal. oh its a big gun pipe too.
