I am wanting to install nitrous on my 400ex but i cant seem to find any info on it besides the kits on ebay. Does anyone know where to get a good kit from? and any info on how to install it would be helpful!!

sandman69 has a noss kit, i belive he said it was a boss noss kit. he put a lot of time, look at his forum, im sure he wouldnt mind answering a pm

well depnds on alot of things what else you have done but yes I could if it wasnt a very heavily modded 700 but my bike wasnt close to stock

how does nitrous work out I thought it leans out the mixture becaue its like oxygenated fuel on roids more oxygen = the need for more fuel and how would you jet for that? i mean your not using it all the time. someone correct me if i'm wrong on it leaning it out

depends on which system you run the boondockers goes into your airfilter and goes in that way its might not be as effective but safer and easier to use the nx system or nos is a wet shot and you have to jet for it i think its a 4 jet sread between the nitrous and the gas i run alky and its a 8 jet spread for me

oh so when you hit the button there are separate jets that compensate.

well right now mine is drilled into my intake on my carb and i ahve a holley car fuel pump running my fuel and when i turn the fuel pump on that puts the extra gas needed to it and i have a regulator to adjust were i set my gas and how much i need. And then I have a mircoswitch set up and when its hits the switch at full throttle its shuts the nirtous into the intake
