I have a buddy that has a 07 yfz for sale. It less then 15 hours on it. All new tires, and skid plates, everthing else is stock. He is asking 6000 for it. Do you think it is worth it or keep looking around. Thanks for the help

It depends if you think it's worth it or not. Myself, I would go ahead and spend $400 more and get a new bike. Try to talk him down if you can. I see YFZ's selling for $3500 quite a bit.

I agree, I bought mine new for $6200. As Rob said, you can find good YFZ's for around $3500.

I saw this bike for sale on one of our sites here in Florida. I sent a friend of mine down to Ft. Lauderdale to grab it. The seller had been trying to sell this bike for $3500 for a couple of months with no luck :eek2: . I told my friend to offer him $3300 and my friend has it now. Already setup :D

Yeah, you would think a bike like that would sell for $4500 easy with all the stuff on it. But the way the economy is people don't have money to spend because gas prices are making it hard on the average Joe/Jane. Just like you said, there out there. You just have to find them.

The whole reson I am thinking of doing it cause he is going to let me take over his payments. I dont have any credit what so ever. It is so hard to get a loan without any credit. I would have to pay 150 a month which is not to bad at all.

I don't know if I would trust that. You'll basically be paying for a bike that's still in his name. If something happens a year or two from know or even when you pay the bike off he can screw you. CYOA!!!!

Yup, I would be iffy on the whole taking over payments thing. when I bought my 400ex, I didn't have any established credit and I was qualified without question. Have you tried?

Yes i have tried to apply for a quad on just about all of the makers. The guy that i am getting it from is one of my good friend not so dude off the street. He and I figer we would write something up saying that i will take over payments and all that bull. It is a nice quad not beat up and only a few hours of ride time. My banshee just will not cut it for the trail and i miss riding the trails. :(

Have you tried getting a loan from an actual bank, not that Yamaha credit BS.
I got an installment loan from a bank with no real credit history and not to mention, a really goo interest rate. You should do some research, most banks have loans for quads, etc. :)
