I have a 450R carb. on my ex and I have the idling screw turned all the way down to where it isnt even touching the cable mechanism and the idling is still too high, I cant figure this one out-any suggestions-please.......

I dunno, maybe it needs a richer pilot jet.

yea you have to screw the cable out at the thumb and into the carb, just do it with the bike runnin so youll know what to stop

the cable is actually lose it isnt tight and pulling on the throttle, it isnt the cable I checked it 3 times, this idling happened as soon as I jumped from a 48 pilot to a 50 pilot, I ran it hard yesterday and it had alot of popping on decelaration, it sounded like rich popping, it didnt run well, I am guessing I am to rich with the pilot and that is causing the faster idle-I am at a 50 with 3 1/4 turns out on the air screw

there is a leak, it could also be a base gasket... my blaster was like that...

the leaking base doest apply here...... as mentioned, i'd look into a air leak at the carb or something is in a bind and not allowing it to idle.
