i noticed that when i go to start it that it makes a buzzing noise coming from under the seat. i looked at my starter relay and touched it while trying to start it and it was vibrating. i checked for continuity and it only clicks, there is not a constant flow. so this means that my starter relay is shot, right? i have a brand new battery and constantly find myself jumping it with the car. could this be because of the faulty starter relay?

Could be the relay, but typically starter relays either work or not.
When they click or buzz, it is usually low battery voltage.
Unfortunately, jumping with the car battery, although temptingly convenient, tends to ruin small motorsports batteries. If you have access to another quad battery that is known good, try using the cables and the good battery to start your quad. I would do this with your battery disconnected. If your battery has a bad cell or cells, it will lower the voltage from the good battery.
That should tell you if the starter relay is bad.
Even it is bad, you are probably also looking at a new battery sooner than later.

what do you mean? the relay thing is $60 brand new. i have jumped it with a car a few times and it seems fine, but i'll jump it, ride it for 20 minutes, and then put it away and the next day it won't start and does the same thing. so, it seems like the generator does not work because you would think that it would recharge itself after riding for a few minutes. but once it starts, it runs perfect.
