need help fast

does the washer between the nut that holds on the front clutch and the one way clutch for the kick start go a certain way. seems to have a kinda bevel to it and i put it togeter , went to run the quad heard a weird noise , opened it up and the nut was loose , then noticed the bev on the washer turned it around and seemed good

i read what i posted and i might not be making it clear. if you were to change your rollers, you would take off clutch cover , then the nut u need to impact off , the washer right behind that
sons first race on sunday and want to make sure i did t screw up and have it come loose during race.

You should put the washer on so that when you tighten it up that the center of the washer squishes down. I you have it on backwards then the center of the washer will be bottomed out on the front varaitor before it is tightened... So the concaved side should be on the inside. I hope this helps... JR

yes thank you , so i did have it backwards , is that why the nut kep coming loose

Yes, happened to me and came off in practice. Destroyed the variator!
