Does anyone have any sugjestions on what kind of oil and what weight to use in a drx50 ?

You'll probably get a LOT of different answers, but I think most will agree to use a snythetic. Personally, I'm using Red Line (heavy) shockproof gear oil...which is synthetic. I had excellent results w/ it in my street bike.

We have had good results with Bel-Ray Gear Saver.

this one may throw up a few skeptic flags but we run b&m trick shift atf or any of the synthetic erformance trans oils , we have not had a failure due to this oil being used, in fact most of the trans components showed little to no wear, we are switching over to amsoil performance trans oil , already a firm believer in the dominator 2 stroke oil.
