stay around the 3 gram roller wieght , the 50cc quads need the rpm on the bottom to make good power, going up on the wieghts can kill your take off , iput a set of 2.6 dr pulley wieghts in one last night with a 1000 ztr tourqe spring and it performed great , what ever you do use small changes when tuning a 50.

drr5 is right on. 2.6 for the holeshot, 3.0's for a little more on top end. Some also run a little different belt with that set up.

dont know if this makes sense. put the 2.6 in and the quad felt like it couldn t get out of its own way . went with 4.5 , being that going down a gram didnt seem to work i tried going up a gram and it seemks to run really good , dont know if this makes a diff , i forgot to mention a changed to a 17 tooth sprocket.

I THINK I'm running 3.5's in mine as well. And I'm also running a 17t front sprocket. Seemed to help quite a bit on the holeshot. Before, he was getting left behind at the starts, but now he hangs w/ 'em.
