Hey guys, I know some of you are running a mini K&N on the end of you breather hose that goes to the airbox. I have an aftermarket aluminum airbox with a K&N filter and outerwear. I don't have enough room to put a mini K&N on the end of the hose. I was thinking about zip stripping some foam around the end of it. I was wondering what kind of setups you guys have, thanks.

i have i uni crankcase filter on the end of my breather hose and i placed it under the rubber flap where your the gas tank ends under your seat that covers your boot to your carb and airbox. i check it before every ride and clean it when it nedds it. it usually stays pretty clean but i will be getting a longer breather hose to run back into my airbox and have it it mounted at the end of the airfilter. my filter is two inches in diameeter so it will fit next to my air filter. but for right now it works ok.

It would be nice if we can get some pics of some peoples setups. As i know alot of people would be interested in this so there air filters stop getting covered in oil .

What do you do when you wash it?

You could just route it down below the swingarm with your carb vents. No filter needed, just like the dirtbikes.

Mine is similar, I just pulled the hose out and cut the elbow off. Clamp the filter on and ziptie the the upper tube on the subframe.
