i need computer help

i have this screen on top of my backround but i can't get rid of it. i dont have a program running either. does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Sounds like you got a worm. Try right clicking on the desktop-properties-Desktop tab and see if something else is set as background.

This will take some time, but go to Task Manager- Processes and start looking some of them up on google. You may also want to try screen shoting the Processes and I'm sure some of us on here could spot something fishy.

Another good thing to do is to go to Add/Remove Programs and remove any stuff such as Google Toolbar or something of that nature.

Good luck man, those little viruses can be a Pain.

i agree, try changing your background. have you restarted it? it looks like it is froze on there. i woud go deleate all of your cookies and scan everything, sometimes the simple stuff does it.

go to add an remove programs an see if theres somthing in there. this happin to my dad an he got it off by add an remove programs.

Try hitting your last restore point if it wasn't to long ago...

You can also go to Start-Run-msconfig, go to the Start up tab and just take a look, you can generally look at the path to see if it is a valid program that needs to be ran on start up. Also post your Processes as someone said.
