yzf400/426 400ex help

hey guys, im stuck on something...

i picked up a yz400ex from some kid that liked fincein wire to hold cows and horses in..

he wired the raid. in and the air filter on there and all that stuff that needs tabs on it... could you post picks of how the raid was used its a stock 250r that is in use now... i dont know if i will need a PWR or what but i do know that he didnt build anything right but pputtin the motor in there right and thats about all that he did right... i need some pics of how every things mounted... and i would like to see how your quads look like so i can start to mod it out...

its a stock 99 yz400f motor... i would like to pick up a 426 jug or something something like that for it.... and tips or tricks that i could do... or should do thanks!

any one know what the little port by the intake on teh yz400 is for? its like a tube for an over flow on a carb... its blocked off...

what cable do you use with a FCR carb also... any one have pic's?

the little spickit next to the breather tuber on the head have any need? could i block it off? also how long does it take a 400 motor to be hot... like it would be after a hard moto... mines super hot with in like 10 min.s of just lettin it idle and hittin the gass alittle

what wires on the harness are for a kill switch also.. there isnt one on the quad...

could i have the motor bolt up in a 205r chassie as well with the mounts from the 400ex?
how do you mount up the stock oil cooler in the chassie with the raid?

how much oil does the motor take also... thanks!

what about teh spick on the head of the motor? i dont know what that thing is for.... i think i have it just about all done... its not very good... need to have some one weld me up a oil tank and stuff...

If you are talking about the spigot on the head cover(if I remember correctly there are 2,a small one and a larger sized one) one goes to the oil tank(over flow) and the other ran to the airbox

yep them 2 and then there's another one on by the intake boot... i dont know what that is for...

could i plug the over flow one because if the oils gonna come out it can come out of the breather tube...

yup ones an oil overflow that goes to the oil tank. adn the other is for a breather tube

no you cant plug them. one has to go back to the oil tank or it will mess your oil flow up. and the breather line will let any acces oil escape the motor. post a picture of the other plug im not sure what ur talking about on that one.

How sure are you about him putting the engine in correctly. Have you checked to see if the motor is centered correctly? I am in the process of puting together my own ex/yz hybrid. ss440ex has been walking me through my build. I bought a mounting kit which makes mounting and centering the engine extremely easy. Send him a PM (ss440ex) with any questions you have.

the motors in there right he got a mount kit like that but the oil tank its jacked up and the raidator and the exhaust knocked the nipple thing on the rear shock to have it charged off so i need a non piggy back shock now... or something different... and he was cuttin and weldin happy... i pulled the motor and set it in the 250r chassie
