I recently read in an atv mag. tech section,for '06-'08 trx450rs they suggested a'05 crf450r cam for quote "allows bike to start easier,as well as pull harder from bottom to top". Anybody tried this swap, and if so how did it work out for you? Thanks

i have heard that lots of people do it. and it is a drop in cam. and will really improve over stock, also the 02 and 03 crf cams are very popular cams, im sure people who run crf cams will chime in here with there thoughts. i may have a 05 crf cam for sale, but its a maybe, ill let you know later.

I have an 06 HRC cam if u want it!!I went with a bigger web cam when i redid my motor.$85 shipped.

Well, I guess thats what I'm asking. Is the HRC a better way to go then the crf.Why do people use one over the other? Price or performance?

im not really a expert with this, but im almost positive, one of the hrc cams are the same as a crf cam. not sure which year is which tho.
