Hey, i thought about taking my stanley 30w/30w bulbs out of my EX and putting in 9007 bulbs from a car, is this crazy? or good idea? Any reason this should give me trouble?

i dont know alot about the lighting, but i do know youre better off spending the money and buying a conversion kit for HID, or buying high output bulbs made for the 400ex.

ok, i'll check into the HID's i just didn't think that having all that electrical would be reliable, i figured once the ballasts got wet they where shot!

how did they fit? just plug in or did you have to do some hard wiring?

He's keeping us in suspense I think :chinese:
I looked at the 9007 bulbs, and I figure some hard wiring had to be done... unless somehow the 'plug' disconnects from the 9007 bulb. Yes, it is designed to plug into wiring.

this sounds like a great mod as long as it dosent start frying the electrical system
