pulling flywheel

I need to pull my flywheel on my 2006 450r and i was wondering if there were any tricks to get it off. I used an impact gun and already got the nut off but i dont have the special tool to get the flywheel off the crankshaft. Any ideas without purchasing any special tools? thanks

no tricks to it you might as well buy the puller, you will need it down the road when you replace the cam chain.

i learned the hard way, use the proper puller if not cranks get expensive

yeah, they are 20 bucks, get one from Trail Tech (http://trailtech.net) they are a nice quality tool. worked well for me...

Not using the right tool for that would be like banging a prostitute without protection!!:blah:And make sure you get the 06 and up puller!!
