Would like some ideas for shocks!!

I have an 87 250x that I am fixing up a little. What would be your best advice as far as shock replacements at a reasonable price. I still have the stock shocks on my ride right now and have heard that getting newer shocks would make a drastic difference. The rear shock is already replaced.

Any ideas and thoughts would be a great help from you guys.

Not sure what shocks will works for that bike but I just ordered the new HLS shocks by HMF and GT Thunder. Suppose to be pretty good. They make them to fit what your riding, not just a mass produced shock lying in a warehouse waiting to go on 1st quad that orders them.

hls or works would be your most cost effective solution while still gaining better ride quality

I would suggest Works I got a rear works shock on mine, made a huge difference in ride quality. Also its pretty easy to lower/raise the bike with Works.
