Which should I go with? A White bros E series or an HMF slip on? which would sound nicer? which would I see more gain on? thanks all!

The HMF is better quality, my e series always rattles loose and I already had to reweld the mount. IMO, the e series sounds better than the HMF with a quiet core. But, if you dont have the quiet core in the HMF that sounds better. Both make about the same power, no noticable difference atleast. For the same price, I would get the HMF, but I picked up my e series for 40 bucks and all it needed was to be polished up and new packing and it was like new. I'm satisfied for how cheap it was.

so basically, hmf if you have a little extra money, e series if you wanna go the cheap route

red one has an hmf and the stuck one has an e series

one of my buddies has a hmf and i have the e series. they both sound really good, but i think i like my e series better, i just like being able to add and remove disks where on the hmf you cant.

Never owned a HMF I guess it's because I own the E-series and love it.The E-series has some flaws but nothing that cant be fixed and the power gain was also nice, with my set up it helped the low end tremendously and a little mid with no effect on top.

I"ve ran both, both being a really nice pipe; with substantial gains....

My vote is HMF though you won't be disappointed with either.

heck yea there should be a poll...

now i'm not gonna say nothing bad about hmf. for 1 i've never run one and 2 i've heard nothing but great things(plus i'm new to the atv scene). but i personally like the sound of the E series pipe over the hmf stuff...when comparing the two, the hmf just didn't seem to have the "compression" sound that the E series had. BUT THEN AGAIN, THAT'S JUST MY OPINION.

ok...i personally started on a bone stock machine. i added the e-series, which was an improvement over stock, but didnt sound the greatest. then, i went to the HMF slipon (still on the stock machine motor wise) and the HMF was a HUGE gain over the e-series, and it sounded better too.
