JD jet kit LEAK JET

does anybody run the leak jet that comes with the JD kit. I understand that it let's fuel leak back into the bowl but I don't understand how it helps.

maybe its the combination of oring and leak jet cause Im running 55 leak in my 40 fcr and I dont have the stumble at all.......backfires and pope like a sob but no stumble. I still have some work to do on the main/needle setting and a pilot on order so we'll go from there.
