We raced an Apex 90 last year, and are currently sitting on a couple of Hetrick Honda's. My daughter always talks about missing her Apex. Found a DRR that we like, but just wondering about the size of these bikes. She is a tall girl, 5'0" (11yrs) and weighs 75lbs soaking wet, so I'm not worried about the weight issue, I just don't want her knees banging the handlebars....LOL!

How big are the kids running these bikes at nationals/local series? We just don't see alot of DRR 90's in our local series, just a bunch of Honda's and Apex's

My son loves his, he loves the way that he controls the bike and it doesnt control him. He loves the dimensions that it has.

Why isnt she on her Apex still?

Honda won all 3 classes last year in our local series! Made the switch, but she's not liking it! What about the size of your son? She's tall and skinny!

Thanks,

Kelly

He is 57 inches tall weighs 95 lbs and is 10. He fits the bike perfectly, with all the leaning and sliding that is required in turns. He races against 5 apex's and 2 drr's and can beat them all. He consistantly takes first or second. It is usually a battle between him and another drr rider.

What kind of Honda's are you racing? the 125cc? Does she have a 125 cc motor?

We are running a 107 and 114 right now, I have a SCR125 sitting in the shop waiting for next year if she wants to stay on a Honda!

MY Daughter raced her mini until she was 12. She is long legged ,leg length was the b ig issue for her than just height. Also her arms are long, shes not really tall so much just LONG .. lol
You can extend her abit more to owith somem minor adj. like risers, we had to do that with both my kids this year, they went threw a growing spurt over summer.
I thnk Kelsey was somewhere around 5'-5'4 and about 90 lbs. when she greaduated off her Kasea .
MY son currently races a DRR and is 11. Hes about 5 foot and weights approx. 80lbs and is just now needing some added height so we got him a riser.

Being a litter bigger on them is actually kinda nice to the kids, like racerdad199 has mentioned, it actually help aid them to minipulate the quad better . I think Brandon is fitting his very well now .

Kelly,

Any luck with Mckenzie on making the switch to the pink DRR?

Let me know if you want to bring her out and ride Tristons 70 or just to sit on it to get an idea on the size. We have a track here on our land so she could get out and have a lttle fun. Call me anytime 214-477-1879.
