I broke my steering stem this weekend and have to get a new one of course. I want to get a Houser or something in that range. Which ones do yall like? Anybody got a used one for sale(its a '05 450R)? Thanks guys.

I've got a +2 hermann stem I'm going to be selling. It's sitting on the bench right now, PM me if you're interested. I've also got the 1 1/8 big bar antivibe clamps to go with it.;)

also, what are the pros/cons to getting a taller stem? What do most people use?

Taller stem improves your stance if you are a taller rider, I am running a +2 with Dana Creech bend Fasst bars and i am 6'2.

Houser is what i put in mine. Fuelatv has a +1 stem your bike. mite be cheaper than Houser.

I take that back. i just checked and Houser is cheaper by $25. But the Fuelatv stem comes w/ 7/8 of 1 1/8 bar clamps.

yeah, I want to go with a Houser +2 w/ 7/8 bar clamps cause I'm 6'4" and have a few spare 7/8 handle bars. If anybody has a used one or knows somewhere that has them less than bout $300, let me know.
