yea ive broken a couple on my 05's but neither time was due to an accident or broken/missing bolts, just landings i guess, they broke at the back piece that connects the 2 sides

This is getting welded for now because I cant get a new one in time for Lorettas. If it holds up then I will just leave it in there.

Eastside400- This is probably the fifth time that a bolt has broke that holds the subframe to the frame.

do you have a welder? you could make a new lighter but stronger one. you know? just use the old mounts and stuff for it and weld them to the new one.

Hey Nick mine broke in the EXACT same place this weekend on a hard flat landing at the track. It broke there, sheared the right side top bolt off, and broke the damn tab off the left side of the frame where the sub bolts to it!?!?!?!! WTF, one bolt broke and the other ripped the steel off the frame??????? These subframes suck. I'm not even gonna fix mine I'm just buying a new one and having it modded. Sucks to hear you are leaving Honda. Cale Downen and Sage Baker were at the track we were on this weekend in Illinois. Cale is still on a honda and Sage is on the Can Am. Cale made fun of his Can Am the whole time we were there.

Yeah they were really cool guys. They apparently travel from track to track together and happened to be in Taylorville when I went out there on Friday. Extremely nice guys. Nick are you gonna part out your bike?

No. I wont have time to do that. At the end of September I will be moving down south to a Job site for my new job. I need to get rid of it as a whole.
