OK this is for all of you , but I respect all the pics Pappy has taken . Taken 8/1/08 Stanislaus County Fair ( Turlock CA) With a NON SLR 12 megapixel Cannon G-9 from about 20 yards away through a fence.
I SO miss my old Pentax K1000 with Film , but Man the instant gratis of a Digi is great.

Oh and this is a family friend , finished 2 in Pro 450's , he wasnt pissed , but wasnt happy either.

Don't want to burst your bubble or anything, but for $475, you're venturing close to DSLR territory. Nikon D40's are a nice entry-level DSLR. They are very simple for anyone to use on the AUTO mode, so even your wife would have no problems shooting with it.

Here's one with a 18-55mm kit lens for $468 with free shipping.

Just a few more random ones. The one thing I was taught ..... waste all the film you can. It only takes 1 good shot to pay for 20 rolls.

The numbers on the helmet make ya go faster , just like all the stickers ... didnt ya know ? Oh and Am should be emailing ALL the pics out today, and she is going out to make some hardcopies too. SHE took the headless one... I did a couple of them too though.
I still have dirt in my hair from that first pic. I got a complete roost shower from taking that one.

well, i just got burnt out, and had really bad luck, so i took the year off, bought a dirtbike, and rode that and only have rode the quad at maybe 6 races this year. but i havent practiced at all, im thinking about doing the last 2, but if i can get my other quad built and/or build the honda, im gona try and race the open pro class next year. have you been doing any of them this year?
