What kind of quad have you always wanted? [Archive]

For a long time I wished for a banshee and wanted one really bad so I worked everytime I could make a penny and then back in June I went and bought a brand new black and white 2001 leftover for 5,500 otd. Now that sucka is paid off and I have quite a few of mods.If you work hard enough there is no reason you can't have any quad on that list. I just turned 15 today and I have worked for everything I have and no one has given me any of my quad stuff or my quads and I am damn proud to say I did it on my own.:D :D :macho

Good point. When I didn't know about quads I always wanted a 400ex becuase it was the first quad I saw and it looked nice, lol. I would really like to get 250r or a ltz400 now. I better start working my tail off like you did. How much were you getting an hour?>

Just to start off, you could only fit 10 on there, and you put the KFX 400 and the Z 400 they are the same quad... I think there are some other doubles, I didn't really pay that much attention.

I voted for the 400ex, I have wanted one since they came out, and this year I bought mine, I saved all year and bought, it feels good when you actually pay for it yourself.

I always wanted a Banshee since I was really young and had a Blaster. But when it was about time to get a new quad I had my mind set on a Banshee, somehow my dad convinced me that they were too much maintenence and not to reliable, and engine stuff cost double and then I wanted a 400ex. I still want a Banshee but I think that might have to wait till later on. Since I always wanted a Banshee, thats what I voted for.:square

yea thats true thats what i did with my quad but it took my 2 years and it was easy before you turn 16 or get a car but once you get a car and more responsibilities say goodby to spending money on the quad. Once you have a car you end up puting all the money into that unfortunitly so i have started 2 bank acounts just to have money for both quad and truck lol half the chack goes into each it seem to work ok but just takes forever to add up.
YOu forget the ds650 on the poll casue thats what I would have voted for

I wanted a Raptor when I came across this used EX and I still want a Raptor to do the 690 Sparks motor. Thats my plan if the right deal comes along.

I always wanted a raptor -- whats better than a big bore.with reverse!! I dont want to hear any BS about its tranny, handling, etc. im sure all of you have aftermarket suspension, extended a arms, and the like. just imagine a raptor with that done.............:devil

Walsh Race Craft 250r or maybe a Moto 440 decked out with Walsh stuff............wait a minute....I already have that.

So I guess I would have to go with a Custom Walsh Race Craft CRF450. That would be nice.

Do they still make all the parts for a LT500? I wouldn't mind having on of those bad boyz. Maybe for drag racing, hill climbing, or TT. I wish I had more room to put more quads. I would have added the bombardier 650,and some 3 wheelers. The 250r one this vote. I bet if I added a crf450 engine in a 250r that would be #1!.

I've always wanted a Banshee to make it street legal. I know it is possible here in Pa, and its my dream to buy a Banshee, lower it, slap on some Hoosiers, big bore kit, all aftermarket frame and suspension components, all the work done by Trinity or a similar company.

And yes, it will have NOS....

Well I helped my dad here on the farm and made anywhere from $15-$40 a day depending on what all we did. Sometimes more.

I have always wanted a roll design frame powdercoated orange with blue 250r full bore plastic(nac's or k&K graphics). and a yz426 engine all decked out. I typed out all the mods and everything i wanted and it would cost about $19,546....HAHAHA

whenever i first saw the kawasaki kfx400.. i fell in love with it.... i didnt have the money to buy one so instead i bought my 250x, hopefully some day i will have a kfx400 or even a 400ex

I have always wanted a banshee.Even though I have rode 2 and don't really like them.I still want one.Even had a dream about getting a new black and white one last night.And the strange part was I rode a wheelie past a guy on a 250r.Hmm I wonder what that means.

Other than that I would get a z400 or a raptor.It seems that qauds on the showroom floor always look better than when there outside even if they are brand new and outside.I don't know.Also wouldn't mind have a moto 440.

And for all you guys that want zilla's.Yeah they are awesome.MY dad had a pretty moded 87 and it hauled!
