bought aftermarket a-arms on ebay. not sure of the brand. the lowers were fine, uppers however, the eyes are too larger to clear the frame. they need to slide in about 1/16-1/8 more for bolt to fit. do you guys think that it will b ok to slot the frame holes as needed? if not how do i correct this problem?

Holy Crap! them look really beefy to me, can you get a pic of the whole arm? Looks like someone welded different bushing mounts.

If you do end up slotting the hole. Weld a washer on the outside of each frame mount so the bolt cant slide. Best i could thing of. Hope you didnt drop alot of cash on those.

Why would you go through the work to screw up your frame when it is obvious that those arms are not correct. I would send them back.

to thoose that were constructive, thank you for your thoughts and ideas. here what i found out and what i did, i believe that they were stock a-arms off a 86-87 250r, i used them buy miggin pieces of 1/8 steel (blanked out washers) on the outside of the mounts, i then drilled pilot holes where i needed to then finished with a reemer. end result i have adjustable a-arms for 50 bucks+ shipping and 3 hrs. work.
