shock question

I have elkas that are set up for a +2 a-arm front end. I have recently switched to stock a-arms. I am guessing the elkas will be stiffer but they were already soft on +2. Will it perform normally or should I just run my stock shocks. I have a race next weekend and I would love to have some opinions. Thanks.

At the very least, they will be stiff. If the +2" arms were LT, I wouldn't run the shocks at all. There are a lot of variables when it comes to shocks and performance, you need to be careful because your ride height will certainly be off without adjustment, and handling may be worse than if you ran the stock shocks!

No the a-arm were +2 standard travel. Sorry for not specifying.
