i have a friend who is selling a '98 kx 125 that is in beautiful condition. i have rode the bike and i am completely comfortable on it already. he is asking a grand for it. my thing is that i cant get the bike if i dont sell the quad. if i sold the quad i would have extra $$$ after i bought the bike, but two issues keep coming to mind with selling the quad.

first is that i cant ride over the winter if there is snow on the ground (with the bike).

secondly, i have a couple of friends that i often take riding with me (very hot girls) and i will not have the ability to do so if i sell the quad...

what do you guys think?

hmm, i would deffinatly get the bike. If you can try to keep the quad, or rig up a set of pegs on the subframe of the bike.

thats what i was thinking, pegs on the subframe, but idk if it would get in the way of me riding when i got no one on the back

haha, you can put hinges on the frame, like street bike pegs

How hard would it be to save a grand? Have both the girls and the quad and bike.

keep the fourwheeler, cause if ur gonna try and ride sombody on the bike, ur balance will suck trusut me, and with the fourwheeler, you can ride in the snow, and a girl feels more comfy on 4 wheels, from my experience

Win-win. Girls on bikes aren't nearly as much fun as on wheelers. Not to mention a small-bore two stroke. We do a lot of night riding when we take our females, and definately a fourwheeler for that.

So... A bike and a quad. Best of both worlds.

riding 2 people on a dirtbike is very easy if the person on the back isnt too big.

i am much more comfortable on a quad myself...but i have always wanted to own a bike.

400EXtreme - i know. the girls are only a hundred lbs and they hold on to you so that you dont really know they are there. it is the worst when the person tries to lean the wrong way because they are uncomfortable.

and i will also probably still weld a set of pegs on there like i said before...it seems like a cool idea to me and it isnt something that anyone i have ever heard of has done before.

nothings worse then riding a quad with someone heavy on back, and them leaning back to far, making it impossible to steer:p

omg, i cannot stand it...the worst is when they dont know two things and start telling you that you dont know how to ride. i showed a kid off once cuz he pissed me off so badly saying that

well, i handed him $400 to secure the bike, and he let me take it out to ride today. when i went to bring it back, he told me to take the bike home cuz he knows that i wont stiff him...so the bike is in my garage as we speak. :D

i will be posting pics in a new thread tomorrow or tuesday
