It's alot quieter than a lot of pipes and this one was even cut short. It has 18 discs in it.

Take the SA out and you'll have a different point of view.

Maybe it's hard to tell by video, but that sounds a lot quieter than mine, and you're running a shorty. I'm currently running a full length E-series, with the spark arrestor, 12 discs, stock bore and K&N. Mines seems much louder. Is your pipe brand new with fresh packing? Have you tested the decibels? I'm trying to get my E-series to meet a 93db-95db noise restriction and I was beginning to have my doubts that it was possible.

Yeah it has fresh packing, I tested the pipe with a Radioshack sound meter by the USFD standards - 92dbs. But remember my shorty has different internals than yours. Mine was custom made by White Bros and shipped right to me. That could be why.

92db? Wow! What did they do differently on the internals?

Thanks!

Instead of a straight through design they went for something like this

Interesting. Were you running a stock e-series before this?

Might as well have a stock exhaust if its like that.

Actually it flows just as good if not better than a regular E-series. White Bros made this pipe for max flow while staying quiet. My 440 setup is exactly the same as drew416ex on here, and it makes around 45-46hp. So this pipe was worth the wait and the price to get. I paid $720 for this system.

720$ !?

Thats alot for an exhaust..

Come on! $720 But I guess if it's something custom then its always gonna be more. Not to be rude and this is just my opinion but for $200 less you could have gotten a full Curtis Sparks and it probably would have out performed the White Bros with the setup you have.

Yeah it is a stroker and although you can't see it very well they custom made the pipe out of a pro meg.

Yeah for that price I would have contacted Leo Vince or Rossier to see if they could make a custom. :D:D

being that all the rage is about quieter pipes, i would have to think that wb would be marketing this if it flowed as well while staying so quiet. that would be a breakthrough in the exhaust industry. here we go again...
