If it is true, it's because of the tires. Put some good Razr2 or holeshots.
rear wonders but its cause of these crappy quadcross. Fronts amazing.

yeah the stock rear tires blow, ill never know why kawi didnt have em come stock with holeshots like the 700's, but its still not that big of deal tires are one of the first things people change anyway, and id take my knarlys/razrs any day over holeshots...

My TRX came with some Dunlops. Those things suck. I run Razr2 on all 4 corners. I love them, they wear faster than the hole shots but worth it. Maxxis uses a softer compound that grips like glue but they wear out faster.

holshots wear out the fastest and i get amazing traction, i got all 4 holeshots at my race last weekend, with only an exhaust and pcIII

I've never rode on holeshots. I have just been told that the maxxis wears faster. But like I said, I don't know for sure.

I finally got a great tire setup for mx. Razr Cross front tires hook up amazing! My quad used to push like crazy in the turns but not anymore and then Maxxis razr rear (all orange label one or all yellow label ones) work great! I have a set of Maxxis I-MX front tires on the way so ill see how those compare and ill pick up a set of back ones when i find another set of beadlocks.

thats what you think. all you do is pin it and slide. it grips fine for me and i like it. just waiting to get new tires all around. stock fronts arent too bad but i replaced the rear instantly because they are terrible.

I liked the stock ones better than the razrs they hooked better.

I have the razr II's front and rear on mine and compared to the stockers, the razr II's are redicilous when it comes to hooking up. These things grip everything whether I'm trail riding, hitting the dunes, or on the track. Best tires in my opinion I've ever bought.

Have you owned the plain old raxr's? wonder how they compare against the razr II? I always like controlled spin and don't want to be completely glued to the ground:D

These were my first razr's ever but don't get me wrong, I can still spin and power slid with these tires on too. I really just like the way I can come into a corner, power slid the rear end a little, see the line, turn the front and instantly hook up and shoot out of it. To me this is how it feels with the razr's on. Just my opinion.
I just wanted to post some pics below for those who would like to know what they look like on a kfx...

I know what you mean about coming out of the slides. It almost feels like IRS hooking up out of the turn. ALMOST! When I want them to slide and spin does it no problem, when I want to stop the slide point the bars straight and I'm off.
