It's been a while since I got myself a new pair of atv boots and after pretty much decimating my Fox's I figured I would try to get everyone's opinion on the matter. I am a size 11 foot, a bit wide too, but I definitely want one with an atv sole. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter, thanks, ken!

I know that Fox and Thor both make a decently priced boot with an ATV sole. You do know the only difference between the regular sole and an ATV soul is the ATV sole is more like a hiking boot?

They're not like a hiking boot sole. They're less aggressive. I have Rath nefrs with REALLY sharp pegs so I don't have a problem with my boots coming off the pegs.

I wear MX boots, I don't have that problem either. But that's what he was looking for.

I had berik's before and they were horrible compared to my fox's and doubt I'd ever go back. I know the difference between the sole's and like the atv one much better.

ive got the atv sole on my fox boots and love them. everyone I ride w/ has the slick bottomed boots. pian in the but for them to get off and walk around the trails if its muddy. I just tromp right thru the mud and hills without slipping.

ditto on alpinestars - awesome boots. i never even had to break them in, fit like glove outta the box.

i havent met anybody that didnt love their tech 8's... i sure love mine...

I agree, really happy with mine. I also have Thor ATV boot with the hiker type sole. I never cared for them while riding, never seemed to stick to the pegs like MX style boots. To me that is more important than comfort for walking around, so the Thor boots just collect dust.
