Ball joints

Has anyone ever tried to replace the lower ball joints on a 03 z before .they are none replace able,but with a good welder and some time i think its possible.Just bought a new axle and just cant afford new a arms.

On the other "Z" Forum, there is a write up on how to cut the stock arms and use a replaceable ball joint. Basically you cut the stock one off the arm, drill and tap the round hole that remains. There is a write up with pics, part numbers and such. I don't think linking to it is allowed on this forum or I would. Take a look

Yeah it was allowed here it is under the topic " Project Z " it is also in the how to section.
