Sand Tires in Snow?

Have any of you guys tried to use sand tires in snow and if you did how did it work?:D

i won't be in ND long enough to make it economical, but i have been told that the GBC paddleMaster is a GREAT snow tire. It is a little heavier and the paddles themselves are REALLY thicks to keep from breaking...for when you find those clear patches while riding.

I was thinking the same thing too, i am also gunna rig up a ski system like someone else did in here.

My dad has razrs on his 400ex, and they grip good. I can do wheelies in the snow with 'em. I got bald stock tires, but i have ordered razrs, and i am gunna order some paddles for the winter too.

I live in cali and we take the quads up to the sierras and ride on the snowmobile trails all winter long......Depending on how much snow is on the ground i either use my sand sharks or some studded turf tamers........after a fresh snow the paddles seem to work better then the turf tamers...so far havnt busted a paddle yet...just my .02 cents.and the paddles throw a good amount of snow too if u wanna white wash anyone
