ok guys i need some advice yet again. i know theres probly a million threads on this already and i've read some of them but not really sure yet what i'm gonna do so i'm gonna see what all ya think. i've been tossin the idea of goin w/ the 450r rear end set up, swinger, axle, etc. but i'm not sure how that will do in trails since i do ride traile frequently probly more often then i do race but i would like to have a good suspension for mx tracks when i do go laps on a track we have here so i was wondering if i could get ur guys opinions on what would be the best thing to do. i know guys run the stock style susupension but i duno if the 450 axle would be too wide in contrast to the front end i have and then just take me back to square one b4 i put the extended arms on it or not so i'm just tryin to figure out whats gonna be worth it. i know i'm gonna have to do a bracket on the frame if i do the 450 rear end which is fine i dont care i'll do it if its worth the time. i'm pretty much just kinda wondering which is the best way to go so any opinions and ideas will be taken into heavy concideration. thanks guys.

might as well throw my 2 cents in
seeing as you have already widened your front end, widening the rear will only contribute to it being a more stable machine ( big plus for MX)
the longer swingarm is very beneficial to the 300ex because on hills it helps to keep the front end down, the stock swingarm is too short in my opinion, ( caused my quad to roll down a few hills :p )
i am a strictly woods rider / racer and with the 450r rear end i have encountered no problems, as far as clearance, manuverability. ect....
but too see this set-up perform to its true potential, you will need to have the rear shocks, revalved and resprung for your application ( weight, riding style, so on and so forth)
to me this is a very cost effective way to gain more stability out of the 300,

haha right on man i think if i have questions i'm just gonna pm ya haha. thanx for the help tho i do apreciate it. how much, ball park, do you think i'm gonna spend on a 450r rear set up cuz i'll probly just try to find sombody that is parting out a 450r and take the swinger, carrier, axle, and brake assmbley and linkage and stuff and then probly just get a works shock thats spurng and valved for me, just so its a safe bet. but how much am i look, ball park, for that rear end.
knock on wood so far with the woods ridding i've done and some of the hill climbs i've been doin i havnt rolled it or flipped it yet :)
