Outgrew 300ex... DECISION TIME!

im 5'7" and weigh like 170 with full gear....
do some trail riding but have found myself earning frequent flyer miles @ 3 palms my local track every weekend

MY 300ex isnt cutting it - im bottoming out but love the handeling and how easily i can whip the small quad around...

WHAT TO DO?

a) mod the suspension

b) 400ex

c) 450r

d) rapy 660

get yo self a DS!! 450r's are guttless slugs 660r over 450r anydays =P

tough call man.... If you can hang on the 300 just get your suspension race ready... But honestly any 450 is the way to go if u wanna race. Ive seen raced out 400ex's that run with the 450 all day.... the choice is urs.

If you are really running tracks more than anything, then you really can't beat the "status-quo" of any of the 450 quads.

Believe me... it will take lots of time, money and effort just to get to that level for the track... when you could just be already there with a 450 and move up from there with mods.

All that said, I recommend 450's very carefully.... not often...

If your heart is @ the track.

your best bet is to go the 450 route only because they are damn near set up ready to race.

I've seen raptors raced MX before. but you have to do quite a bit to get it into that league.

If you want to just do MX on the weekends for fun, and still do woods riding. One of the big things for me getting the raptor 700 was reverse. :) nice feature!!!!
