Ryan is having a ball, catching his supper and swimming non stop.

Cody, in the picture above was watching some deer in another field as we scouted a few farms before season starts in early september.

Tomorrow is the beach....sun burn, tig-ol-bitties and beer:p

We arent far from bethany beach now.

Tomorrow we will be working on laying out a XC loop for Cody down here on the farm. It will ork great for getting ready for Florida as its mainly heavy sandy soil and should help us dial in before making the 1st GNCC in March!

Pappy .... you have one word in that sentence that doesn't belong in this thread.

That word is WORK !!!! You're on vacation , it's no time for work. ;)

Happy birthday by the way.

What area is the farm you are hunting and making a trail loop? You are over in my area. I am about 30 minutes from Bethany.

we are in greensboro, at my old boss's farm. had dinner near seaford the other night:p

i stacked a few waagons, and bailed a few fields....more like old times then work! if i would have known we were going to bail, i would have had cody out there with me so he could have seen how i grew up during hay season(we bailed over 75,000 bales annually of hay and straw for ourselves and as a commercial farm.

pulling out this evening so we can get back and work the weekend somewhere

:p

That's good I don't want him to embarass himself when i put him in a duck blind. Looks like he won't just tell him to aim for the head so we have something to put on the grill.:p Nothing but dust!

Don't worry a $260 Remington 870 kills those mallards just as good when they come in, cupped, committed, and ready to get their head mashed! Damn your getting me all excited and I still have a few months to go.:macho

Pappy

lol...im always excited about hunting season:cool:

we will go back down in mid september and cody will get a chance to shoot at an actual trap range. bill has been MD state champ a zillion times and has even won the Grand in his division in Ohio...the man knows how to put trap away:p so im excited that he wants to teach cody the finer arts of airbone destruction:devil:

That's awesome! It definitely helps having someone with some experience show you the ropes. Basically I got the "well point this end at the doves and here is a case of shells" approach!:p It worked alright but took a few years.:blah:

Pappy
07-31-2008, 09:54 PM
lol...same here. remind me to tell you the story about me, 25 rounds of 12 gauge shells, and 37 doves:chinese:

I couldnt let the boys not see me dust a few:o
