pilot jet location ?

where in the carb would i find the pilot jet

It is right beside the main jet.

is there a trick to getting it out beacuse i thought that was it and when i backed it out it seemed like it wouldnt go past the threads of the bowl nut if that makes sens the way im explaining it

I always take the float bowl off to change it.

I have never been able to get the pilot out with the bowl still on. Take the bowl off and make things easy on yourself.
