I have stock reeds in the old girl from 1987 I was thinking about going to v3 or rad valve witch one is better

V3's arent that great becasue of manufacturing imperfections.

sometimes its impossible for the reeds to sit flat. id save the money and get rads , or even just carbon fiber reeds in stock cage
