Wanting to find out what Oils everyone else is running in the TRX?

I am using the Honda Synthetic 10W30, but thinking about changing to a 20W50 for summer...?

Most likely the same for the Tranny.

Basically just Curious to fing out what you all are running, I have heard rumors of oil consumption with the Honda Oil, but never seen it, I change every ride, but if this oil is "burning" that can`t be good... I always like to read other experiences and opinions....there are so many choices out there.

Thanks, and happy ripping!

The manual says not to use castor based oils, like every manual I have read. I have always ran castor in my 2 strokes for 20 years without an issue...like many others.

I ended up running Honda 10-40 on the first oil change, rode it for about 4 hours, changed both sides with Valvoline VR 20-50 non synthetic.

I have a couple Honda Synthetic 10-30 that I will be running in my bike once the weather hits 30 Degrees I guess, it is too thin for the summer if you ask me??
