Well, it's been a while since I did this ride, but wanted to post up some pics and a review.

I really liked the Diamond Mill area, it's about 15-20 miles west of Browns Camp off HWY 6 in Tillamook State Forest. There is a very large staging / camping area. I highly recommend staying on the river side if you have a tent, the other side is a lot of rock and hard to stake your tent there.

There are picnic tables and fire rings at all of the campsites:

They also had two restrooms (ok outhouses) there also which you can see one of in the far back of this pic:

We set up our tent and got all of our cooking gear out to prepare for dinner and started a fire, seeing as we didn't get there until 5pm.

Wake up in the morning and make breakfast for myself and my son (the girls were still sleeping), then we head off to check out the roads.

No pictures here as it was just the two of us. Didn't go on any trails because we didn't have anyone with us, but took the fire roads to the top of Diamond mill and the view was amazing. Went back down to get the girls and we all rode up to this:

So we're going back down to the campsite to get some snacks and my son passes out on the bike, stayed in this position for 20 minutes until he woke up. Quite hilarious. Drooled down the tank and everything.

After our afternoon snack, we decided to ride to the river (can't remember the name of it for the life of me. Walked down through the rocks and got lots of pics.

And my wife and daughter tried drinking the water, said it was really good.

Overall it was a great 3 day trip that I can't wait to do again. We did find a couple trails that turned out to be a little too tough to bring the kids on (won't do that again), but there were plenty of trails around that we all had a blast on.
