What kind of recharging system does a 300ex have to recharge to battery? i looked around on mine an i couldnt find anything that would look like an alternator. im not very good with electrical stuff an if someone could explaint it to me that would be great..thanks

essentially the stator / magneto is what keeps the hole system charged and going,

ok, does that recharge the battery or just run the lights? My gauge on the battery charger doesnt go up at all when i press on the gas. with a dead battery.

once its running it should have a constant out put

if it fluctuates (SP?) then there is a problem
