Does the front end use 400ex or 250r calipers?
Are the spindles tapered?
How much slop is in the spindles?
What shape is the chrome/powder in?
Do the clevis' spin freely on the spindles and steering stem?
How are the seals on the spindles?
Pictures of these areas would help you out with selling the front end

I dont think thats a modified 250r frame. The 250r frames used square tubing, that frame is round tubed. The frame in the pics also has a removeable subframe. It looks to me like it is either an aftermarket 250r frame or a 400ex frame.

It looks a lot like my laeger 250r frame, but thats not a stock 250r frame,my guess is its after market. It also has the 400ex or 450r swingarm on it as well

Ok guys yes the frame is aftermarket Leager and has not been cut it was heated and spread for this engine to fit that way it could be made or heated back to accept the 250r engine also if they wanted. This is one of JOE BYRDS old quads. Yes the rear swinger is a 450r witht he 250r axle etc. It is ont here because the rear of the YZ engine will not accept the same swinger bolt. Its coming with the leager swinger 500 no link as well and it has been modded to bolt up and fit the yz engine but never put back on yet and i have not seen it yet so i dont know its condition or if the works is ex. or done by a shade tree kind of repair.

Wll i talked to the owner earlier today and i'm finding out more details before i dump money into buying it for part out if i cant make anything at all i'm not going to do it or i'm going to buy it and repowder everything and build custom brackets and have it all tig welded professionally and keep the quad. Thats why i was checking interest on parts because he needs the quad gone and if i can make alil it will help him out me out and any1 who might need these parts. I'm getting more pics of the conversion close up and more detail and pics of the leager swinger thats a 500 no link etc so i'll have more for you soon
