shock setup?

I have a 08 ltz and I plan on racing my first race next weekend the track is a mixture of mx and flattrack. what kind of shock adjustments would you reccomend keep on mind they are stock shocks.and I weigh 156 it's just a small local event but I do want to be as competitive as possible any advice would be a huge help.oh yeah does removing the airbox lid and taking out the spark arrester help to gain some power

not too sure on your shocks. but for the other airbox question, removing the lid isn'g too good when your doing that, your taking in way more air and you dont have jets that are taking in more fuel to balance it out. As for the exhaust goes, I dont know how much good it would do to take the spark arrester off but I'd just go out and buy a new complete pipe system.
