440 with 450r carb question

ok i read other post but couldn't find what i was lookin for. i just put a 450r carb on the bike it has 440 with stage 2 cam right now im runing a 195 rd jet? not sure what brand that it does anyone know? any way after the bike gets hot i can blip the throttle and it will backfire and shut off. other wise the bike runs great. i have the air/fuel screw out 2 1/2 turns. do i need to adjust the more or should i got to a bigger pilot or bigger main or move the clip on the needle ? im just looking for suggestions before i got tearin it down. thanks

if it is getting hot it must be lean i have the 440 10.5:1 stage 2 cam yoshi full no air box velosity intake k&n 42 mm kehin 450 carb stock pilot stock needle pos. but am running 225k main jet runs like a B.O.H, so try a220 kehin and see if that dont straiten it out
