oil in 400ex

i live on a farm and we use John Deere 15-40 motor oil in everything: tractors trucks and my dads fourtrax 300 2wd. I just my 400ex, will it hurt to run this oil, or should i change to honda oil. thanks

my friend runs reg. motor oil and has had his wit no problems wit clutches since 1999. but me myself would use a motorcycle oil made for wet clutch specs.
