View Full Version : Removing the baffle out of the stock exhaust?

I removed the three allens and the little bolt and the bottom but i cant seem to get the spark arrestor out? any help thnks

I heard people riding there quad with the bolts out and it fell out while they where riding. Have you tryed visecrips and pulling hard.

HEY, dont remove the 3 allen screws their to hold the tip on, when i took mine out i removeed the little bolt got a vise grip and pulled on the baffle while vibrating a little at the same time and it came out

Let the quad (pipe) warm up and that might help too.

you dont take the 3 allen head bolts out... just the little one underneith... depending on how much time is on the pipe, it could be carboned up and it makes it a bear to get out...

a couple years ago my friend picked up a yfz off the showroom, we took it out to my place and took the baffle out, it was a bear alot of pulling and some muscles got it though.

yea i forgot to tell u guys i got it off like 3 weeks ago but i had to use vice grips it was in there real tight but i have my sparks now so im done with that muffler lol

Man, i would just keep it in the yfz is loud as it is.
