removing usless snorkle, alt filler??

thers absolutley no use for it now, any homemade creations you guys have done to fill it or filter it for max airflow? or products you recomend? im up for a home project to make one if theres anygood ideas. let me know, thanks guys

I've got a NAC's Racing Plug installed in mine but, they stopped making them. I've read on here several times that a spray paint can cap fits perfectly.

I used to have an outerwears cover for it that had an elastic band on it to keep it secure. I sold that once I got the Nac's plug

a cap off a oil jug, armour all jug, stuff like that. stick it in the hole and put a zip tie around it. works. i race mx and it hasnt came out.

i got the bottom of a soda can in mine with some silicone sealer and the steel band thing from the snorkle still around it. it hold good, works good, but you do know if you take your lid off that youll at least need a outerwears sleave on your filter or things will ruin your motor, mainly sand or water!

I use one of my rattle can caps that I used from painting a few things I had seems to work pretty good and it matches my parts.

I know what the snorkel is for but whats the advantages of removing it?

when youve modded your air box theres no point in having it anymore, its ugly for 1. its more for a when you have yhour lid on, but with modders, theres no point in having it, and it looks a hell of alot nicer with it out hah
