Adding grease fitting to FRAP style ball joint

Is this alright to do? Drill a hole into the back of the balljoint and thread a zerk down into it. I thought this would make it easier to grease the ball joint.

Shouldn't need to do that. It's a sealed balljoint, the grease that is in there will last well past the life of the joint. IMO you would just be adding a way for the dirt and dust to enter it. Defeating the purpose of a sealed balljoint all together.
